Natural denatured ethanol product is produced by mixing two alcohols, ethanol and isopropyl alcohol. Pure ethanol of 96.4% concentration and pure isopropyl alcohol of 3% concentration are mixed to produce natural denatured ethanol. Purity of ethanol is measured by concentration of the substance of ethanol in liquid solution. Volume of ethanol over volume of the final solution (v/v) is the most accurate measurement of purity.

At a concentration of 93.4% there are 934 ethanol particles for every 68 other particles, in a 1000 particle solution. This 93.4% pure ethanol is denatured by the addition of isopropyl alcohol, making it safe to use in healthcare and food processing industries. It is used to in the production of methylated spirits and antiseptics. It is not intended for the manufacture of beverages.

This clear and colourless liquid is most suitable for use in the production of sanitizers and surface cleaners in consumer industry.
